Once there nothing
Just a black void empty
No signposts to see
A dry barren land no water to quench my thirst
Heat hitting by day
Cold knives cutting at night
Demons tormenting
Dancing seductively before my confused mind
“You lost everything
I can give you back all
Come this way my friend
I am the signpost you are seeking come hither”
Suddenly there came
A light in the darkness
I could see my way
Get thee behind me Satan you have no hold now
The light now shines on
Never quenched by darkness
I see desert streams
The desert shall blossom, flourish I see roses
