There are cracks in the sky
Where the light peeps through
The darkness broken
Never static, sky changing
Light and dark playing
Moving, shifting
One giving way to the other
Making shapes, patterns
Neither claiming higher place
“I see the light” you say
Never “I see the dark”
Yet both are equal
Having their allotted place
Look hard, search
And you will find
In each there are great treasures
Priceless gems
Pearls for the taking
And at the end
Pure gold awaits
Turn your face to the sky
Treasure both dark and light
And seek the gold entwined
I love this beth! Very nice poem! Xoxo

Thanks for sharing this. I love those moments of balance when the light is just right. They are fleeting and precious.
