Yes, just having the stroke has triggered contact with people with all sorts of different issues, and despite my own situation I end up feeling lucky. It’s wrong, really, that people go through life with no idea… It’s wrong that we don’t realise how poor the education system is, or Social Services, say, unless we discover it for ourselves.
