Finally, summer is here. I wonder why when we were kids summers were so different. They seemed so much longer and we always actually got a summer. This year has been almost like winter up until now. Certainly a lot of rain and actually a lot of quite humid weather. But of course the weather is going bonkers all over the world. It is scary. Things seemed so uncomplicated when we were kids. Now everything is complicated. It seems a long time since I was a kid now but I wish I could go back to those times. Many of my memories are horrible, but the times on my grandparents’ farm were wonderful. I remember hot summer’s days there and they seemed to go on forever. Ah, happy days.

They were longer for sure. I remember it always being nice weather when school broke up. I wish I could return to the happier days of my childhood too x
