I see
Tears in your eyes,
Lady of deep sorrow,
You are weeping for all my pain.
And grief.
Gently
You wipe the tears from my sore eyes,
Feather light is your touch
Healing my pain,
Peace comes.
I see
Tears in your eyes,
Lady of deep sorrow,
You are weeping for all my pain.
And grief.
Gently
You wipe the tears from my sore eyes,
Feather light is your touch
Healing my pain,
Peace comes.
Peace will come.

Oeace HAS come. This poem is not about me, but about Our Lady of Sorrows, as we call Her in the Catholic Church. She brings peace to many. I was not referring to myself in the piem, but to all who sorrow with Her and who need peace. She is beautiful. Smile

It is okay Sameera. You could not have known and maybe Ivshould have said Who it was about. But I don’t like to bring a particular religion in. But She truly is beautiful and knew SO MUCH sorrow, and so we can relate to Her. I write about Her a lot but I don’t often post those poems in here, smile.

Lovely…and your words are truly universal when one thinks of Spirit as feminine

Aww thankyou Joan. I was worried about bringing what is normally Catholic into my writing. I don’t want to aluenate anybody. But of coyrse, yes the word Ruach, for the Spirit is feminine. I always loved that thought.
